Adult Collections

Books and magazines

• Non-fiction - 22000 titles available for loan at a popular level aimed to cover needs and interests of the community
• Free fiction - 6500 titles covering a range of classic and contemporary titles
• Premium fiction -200 recent titles.  These have a two week issue period.  See Charges.
• Large print - 4000 titles in large print which includes fiction and non-fiction
• Graphic novels - 100 titles available for loan with a three week issue period.
• Magazines - 1000 issues of 80 titles. Standard collection issue for three weeks free of charge and premier (most recent issue) for one week
• Premium Magazines - 40 titles of which the latest 3 issues have a 1 week issue period.  See Charges

Audio-visual

• CDs have a three week issue period and include adults and children's titles as well as children's book and tape sets. See Charges.
• DVDs have a one week issue period and include adults and children's titles. See Charges.
• Videos - adults and children's titles. See Charges. Titles shelved in the adult non-fiction area and Maori Language videos are available free of charge.
• Talking Books - a rental collection is available for public use which is free collection available for print-handicapped readers. Please ask at the information desk.
